The 8th grade have been working hard on this latest project. Basically I took the image of The Great Wave by Hokusai and pixelated it. Each student got a section of the image to duplicate the color of each pixel using paint. As each section gets added the image of the wave starts to appear. It's just another way to take something and interpret in a new way to make an interesting piece of art.
We have a few more squares to add then I'll mount in on a board so it can be displayed.
