Henri Rousseau, painter
The 2nd grade class and I looked at paintings by Henri Rousseau.
He had spent a lot of his time in his greenhouse. This were his love of nature came. As for the tigers he got inspiration from newspapers and books. The students followed my direction in painting the shapes and adding detail with tempera paint.
