I just knew that the 3rd graders would do well with this project, but they more than surpassed what I had expected. I asked a lot for them to do in 40 minutes. Cut the shapes from a paper plate, draw all the detail using a thin black sharpie and add color with water color paint. One more week and they will be ready to hang from the clouds in the class room.
