The first part of this project had the students fold paper in half and add white, purple and yellow pain to the center of the fold. Then when the paper is folded in half and pressure is added the finished product is this cool iris looking blob. With Mother's day coming the 2nd grade cut out the blobs and added stems and detail for a nice flowery image. It's also a great lesson on symmetry.
