The first grade is getting ready for the summer with some colorful popsicles.
First they got a piece of watercolor paper, then they divided it into four sections. I gave them some bright watercolor paints to work with and some crayons and a little corse salt. They experimented in each section with the colors and how they react to the salt and wax crayons.
The next week when the paint was dry the students cut out the shapes and added the wood sticks.
