The first grade and a little help from second grade made this sculpture inspired by sculpture Dale Chihuly. He works in glass, but we used recycled water bottles from school. The students cut the bottles and paint with acrylic. I hot glued the bottles (cool colors to warm colors) onto a large tube. It looks great in the hallway.
