We actually started this some time ago. It all started with the K2 class. I asked the students to create a superhero and draw a picture of them. I walked around and wrote down the name of the super hero and what the super powers are. Above we have "Supergirl".
Next I gave the 8th graders the drawings to transform to a clay action figures. Here you can see them before being cooked. After the cooking the 8th gr. will finish off by painting the figures to match the drawing. That's not all. Then they will also make the packaging for the action figures. I will keep posting the progress. Fun, fun.
