Here a few of the final outcome of the simple but effective abstract art project. The 6th grade started by drawing their name with pencil with the letters reaching top to bottom of the square paper. Then color with sharpies. Once done the name is cut into 9 squares that get rearranged in an interesting composition.
Sometimes abstract art can come from something you see all the time but just rearranged.
