Ok, let me explain. This is the finished product of a collaboration project. First the forth grade class got into groups. Each group had a pile of found objects that they then had to invent a sculpture using all the pieces and they would be able to be constructed with a glue gun. The directions were drawn up by them and handed down to the 7th grade. The 7th grade then used a glue gun to build by using the directions. I was completely impressed with the results. I recommend this exercise for any class, it touches on many skills and it's fun too. All the materials I gave them were from a recycle center.
