Ripped Paper Mosic

If anyone knows me they know that I use a lot of repurposed materials. I've saved all the scraps
of construction paper used over the years. We don't really use that much construction paper, but it adds up. Here the 1st grade have turned the leftover paper into lovely pumpkin mosaics. First they traced a plate for the circle shape. Then they filled the shape with just orange by gluing each piece. This takes great patients. This can be a challenge to your average first grader. This group handled it with a great finished piece of art just in time for Halloween.
