The first grade got off to a great start with this project. Lots of skills involved. Following direction, drawing skills and painting skills. Each student had to follow along with me as I showed different types of lines with oil pastels. Once done they used watercolors to find shapes to fill in and try not to have the paint mix in with the other shapes. It's a great exercise.
